The totalitarian regimes that try to zap the human free will out of their people may have taken down their countries’ social media lines (including the FB “Iran-Israel Friendship Group”), but they can never snuff out the innate will of human beings for freedom.
Not too long ago, we witnessed the success of a hungry and diseased North Korean soldier defect to freedom. Today we’re witnessing the will of Iran’s people to reclaim freedom.
As American humanistic psychologist Abraham Harold Maslow once said: “There’s no such thing as a well-adjusted slave.”
It’s just a matter of “time” – what ever time is left of this galut – before these two regimes and all others like it are over and done with.
Yes, you can imprison people, physically and/or mentally, but their inherent human spark of free will will prevail. My seemingly sanguine view of the present harsh reality of galut stems from the words of King David and our Prophets all of whom describe the same pic of what we are looking forward to. And 3 of the 5 criteria of the geula are:
1.Universal knowledge of God – “And Hashem will become king over all the earth…”. So, I KNOW that Kim and Khamenei are on their way out! & are to be replaced by a real King.
2.Universal reign of peace – where swords will be turned into plowshares, spears into pruning hooks, and all the nations of the world will no longer learn war. Thus, Kim’s bomb button and Khamenei’s megalomaniac pursuit of terror and destruction will all go out the window.
3.Observance of Torah – a heart of flesh and new spirit will evaporate tyranny.
[The other 2 criteria are the Ingathering of the Jewish Exiles and the Rebuilding of the Holy Temple in Israel’s capital, Jerusalem – B”B – what the soon-to-be-revealed real Messiah will accomplish].
It’s just a matter of time now.
